KELOIDS

KELOIDS

When skin is hurt, scar tissues develop over the wound as a way of protecting and repairing the injury. Keloids form as a result of excessive scar tissue growth, and appear as a hard, irregular and overgrown scar. Though they may itch, they are benign and are more of a cosmetic problem than a medical one.

We can help:

Combination or either treatment of fractional and non-fraction laser can be used to improve the appearance and decrease the depth of the keloid. The depth that can be reached depends largely on the size, depth, and color of the scar. Clients will undergo a consultation to determine the best possible treatment customized to their specific scar condition. Following which, we can then determine the intensity of the laser that is to be used.
