MOLES

Moles are small, colored growths on the skin, often brown in color while some may be darker or skin-colored. Moles develop when pigment cells known as melanocytes, responsible for color pigment in the skin, grow in clusters. They may appear flat, raised, circular or oval, smooth or rough. Some moles change in appearance over time due to hormonal changes and some may even fade away over time.

We can help:

Treatment of moles depends on their character, whether it is raised or flat. For raised moles, an ablative laser is used and can successfully eliminate the target over 2-3 visits. Our Erbrium YAG laser is a high-powered laser producing wavelength energy tp safely permeates the skin. This non-invasive laser procedure boosts cell renewal, treating the melanocytes without affecting surrounding tissues. Flat moles, on the other hand, are treated with a pro yellow laser that are adjusted to the wavelengths depending on the specific size of the mole.
