MOLES

MOLES

A mole is made up of a cluster of skin cells that manifests as darkened, raised spots. These cells known as melanocytes are responsible for the production of melanin, the pigment in the skin. While some people are born with them, moles can also form from sun exposure. Fair skinned individuals are prone to have more moles as a result of lower levels of melanin in their skin. Hormonal changes such as pregnancy or puberty can cause moles to come and go.

We can help:

Laser mole removal is an ideal and safe option for moles that are and brown or black in colour. We use a laser, which harnesses high energy emitted from the laser to evaporate the pigments and gets rid of moles without injuring surrounding skin cells. Using laser for mole removal also has less risk of scarring as compared to other mole removal alternatives.
