SEBORRHOIC KERATOSIS (AGE SPOTS)

SEBORRHOIC KERATOSIS (AGE SPOTS)

Seborrheic keratosis, also known as age spots or liver spots, are harmless, wart-like looking growths. They vary in size and color, ranging from white to black, brown or tan on areas most exposed to sun rays. Most people get them in their 50s or older, but younger people who are frequently out in the sun can be afflicted too.

We can help:

Ablative laser skin resurfacing and/or electrocautery are our choice procedures to treat Seborrheic Keratosis with minimal risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Laser skin resurfacing works by issuing intense light of specific wavelengths through the skin, which breaks away the outer layer of pigmented skin. This results in collagen production to reveal new skin with a youthful glow.
